In late September, participants in the MediaStorm Advanced Multimedia Reporting Workshop gathered in New York City to spend a week working with Producers Bob Sacha and Eric Maierson. The goal: to expand their multimedia skills and create a compelling project. The six participants spanned a broad spectrum - from a Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer to the head of visual communications at a major international corporation, to editors at NGO's, a university photographer, and a brand consultant, this diverse group brought their unique backgrounds and skills together to learn, share, and create. Using a mix of audio, video, still images, and a lot of hard work, they conceived, reported, and produced two stories. MediaStorm intern Maisie Crow documented the week, looking behind the scenes at what goes on when you mix the MediaStorm team with six new contributors, two stories, lots of late nights, and loads of inspiration.
MediaStorm intern Maisie Crow takes us behind the scenes of the MediaStorm Advanced Multimedia Reporting Workshop, to see six participants join the MediaStorm team to conceive, report, and produce two multimedia stories over the course of a week.

Too long, too boring, too self indulgent. Classic MediaStorm. Story telling isn't about talking about story telling.
