How do I submit work?
We accept a broad range of media formats including:
Animation: SWF, at a minimum size of 640x480pixels.
Audio: uncompressed AIFF or WAV, sampling rate of at least 44.1khz.
Photography: JPG, TIF, RAW, no sharpening, in Adobe RGB color space. Embedded metadata preferred.
Text: DOC, RTF, TXT, PDF.
Video: MOV at minimum compression, MiniDV.
Delivery Instructions
Small digital submissions (Less than 5MB) can be sent via email to brian@mediastorm.org.
DVDs and other physical media can be sent via regular mail to:

Submission Frequently Asked Questions
Will my submission be returned?
MediaStorm will not return submissions. Please do not send originals of any kind.
Because of the volume of submissions, we are unable to respond personally.
What if my project has already been published?
Previously published work is acceptable, especially if the project has only been published in one medium.
Copyright & Legal Matters
You must own the copyright of submitted work and you will maintain your copyright.
You warrant that you are the copyright holder or have the rights to submit your work to MediaStorm.
If a claim is made, you will be responsible and MediaStorm will not accept any liability for any third party claims.
If your work is published by MediaStorm we have the right to use your content for promotion of MediaStorm.
The terms and conditions of use of MediaStorm's Web site prohibit unauthorized copying of any intellectual property.
However, MediaStorm will not be liable in the event a copy of your work is taken from the Web site and used by some unscrupulous visitor.
It is your responsibility to pursue any infringements. |
