On September 13th, 2001, New Yorkers, still in shock, are trying to come to grips with their emotions in New York Reacts. Grief, fear, anger, courage, strength, and sympathy can be heard throughout the city two days after the tragedy of September 11th. Producer/Director Ray Farkas provides a glimpse of New Yorkers' first reactions as they try to comprehend the incomprehensible.
Farkas' signature technique is to let his subjects converse amongst themselves, using wireless microphones and long lenses to shoot at a distance. "People are more relaxed talking to someone they know - friends, family, co-workers - than they are to strangers - us," Farkas says.

Bojan, It lean towards returning the attacks because that was the Feeling in New York. Mr Farkas wasn't Covering this event. He is displaying the recations and emotions of those in New York just a few days after 9/11.

astounding piece of film work and documentary and never before have I seen such open comments captured on film. I think Bojan missed the point of the whole piece and fails to understand that this was filmed 2 days after the attacks...

There are three ways to say a story such as this one. The left, right and neutral. You as an artist should now to hold on to neutral one. The way you have shown this short film shows you are clearly leaned towards returning the attacks we received, you haven't shown one clip where the people are saying "hey let's think about this" or something on that line. The mentality of the diner server makes me sick, you did accomplish something there, at least the clip shows the idiotic mind of some people. You can not use a defense line of not hearing it and not getting any footage of people being on the other side, trying to come up with peaceful solution because there are more of us thinking that way than just "oh let's bomb". You are an artist, you should know better. I was looking at your other stuff on here, such as the "Close up" and it was great but after seeing this I am leaving your site and not even bothering with the rest. I wonder if this comment stays on here...
